I wasn't going to go, but then decided to . . . and oh what a classic airshow it turned out to be - much more then I had expected. ;D
Dobbins Air Reserve Base typically puts on a good show with their Wings Over Atlanta, but I've been going to them for nearly 27 years (I can remember carrying my youngest son on my shoulders, just to keep track of him), so I wasn't really in need of any more photos or, even though great they are, watch the Navy's Blue Angels or the Canadian Snowbirds again. But, it was a nice day, so off I went . . .
First time I've used my point & shoot Pentax E50 8.1 digital for this type of photos - not sure I like it, but it's nice not having to carry around the old film camera and all the lenses, etc. I had problems with the settings and focusing - probably more the operator then the camera.
Anyway, here's some shots I thought you'all would enjoy. Sorry for so many, but I can't help it!
Canadian Snowbirds - always a great show!

The owner, Joe Shepherd, is sitting at the far right under the wing. I talked to him for awhile - very nice - lots of stories about the plane and the movie. Here is his site and one about the filming.

…it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D
