Very good looking Roger!!! I used to have Flight Factory Simulations RV-7 & 7a. Very nicely done aircraft and still one of the best representations of a fiberglass canopy I've seen.
This looks to be an exceptional aircraft as well.
Cheers,

Man, it almost hurts to look at this beauty. I took my wife to Oshkosh in '01, and by the time we left, I had convinced her to let me build one of these pocket rockets for her. She had earned her pilot's license the previous January, and I figured the 7A would be the perfect plane for her; easy to land, docile at low speeds, but capable of impressive and efficient cross country performance. Unfortunately, the 9-11 attacks occurred six weeks after we got home; the FAA shutdown our airport for over seven weeks (long story), and by the time they let us fly again, my wife had totally lost interest in the project ("We're not going to spend $70,000 and five years building something the government can take away with the stroke of a pen.").
Hint, Hint: You cannot have an expensive toy/hobby your spouse doesn't support and expect to enjoy domestic tranquility. Or, 38 years of married bliss outweighs 50 hours of year in a hot airplane.

Excellent VC detail, along with the engine. But I have to ask... that scenery... I'm sure I've seen it before but can't recall who made it.

There's ORBX PNW and good old Plum Island on the other coast Should've known it was Plum Island. The detail in that scenery has always inspired me, it's also what sparked me to learn ground polygons.
