there is nothing a german officer cannot do" Gert Froebe - I can´t stop laughing about his faces, he was a real great actor! Craig, pleeease, I know, there is another Deperdussin Monoplane BUT: How could we ever go in FS9 without this one? It´s not that big and it´s not that sharp but I do hope it might be of some use!

Yah, Gert Froebe, great actor. He gave great character to that film. BTW, one of my personal favorites. It falls into that class of adventure/comedy/novelty along with "The Great Race", "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", "Trains, Planes, and Auotmobiles", "The Great Waldo Pepper", and others.

Ha ha...Great stuff I'm sold. Be nice if we could persuade a scenery guy to give us the take-off field and the landing field in Paris?

Yeah she's a real beauty ! I've found a possible landing field in France where I believe they could have landed with the Eiffel tower in sight. LFPR Guyancourt, unfortunately bulldozed over and now a industrial estate. Here is a pic of Jean-Pierre Cassel (Pierre Dubois) sitting in the Avro Triplane at Guyancourt.

Two airfields still in existence very close to Guyancourt, St Cyr/L'ecole (LFPZ) and Toussus-le-Noble (LFPN). But FS has too much urban landscape for a vintage scenery.
