;D I'm going to be working on an FS2002 project of San Diego Field (Ryan Field?) in 1927! The problem is, I've never nuked an airport in favor of replacing it with custom scenery! If anyone here has done something like that, please let me know! I'm still using Airport 2.6 and loving it! Thanks, Guys! ;D Christopher

Geez Chris, I'm not sure I can remember that far back. Using an Exclude polygon would probably not be the best way to go. But, finding the BGL related to the default scenery and re-writing it eliminating the airport and objects would probably be best as this allows for a clean slate as your scenery will be above the default in the scenery stack.
I think I used FSSC in FS2002. I'm not certain I still have it. Never used Airport. I also used AFCAD I believe, which, in my opinion, was an excellent program.

Well, I lucked out! It turns out that the Dusty Flats airport is a good distance away from the current location of San Diego International! Probably a couple of miles maybe more! ;D It's in a mostly industrial area of San Diego, so I figure I can squeeze it into the existing scenery like I did Roosevelt Field! I have FSSC installed on the computer, but I keep coming back to Airport when I work! ;D Habit I guess! I did find some excellent photos of the Ryan Factory in 1927, so I'm going to use EOD and make the macros for that myself! I heard that the actual building used to make the Spirit was a rented cannery a couple miles south of Dusty Flats! ;D Thanks, John! Christopher
