If anyone recalls my "Jonesing with Indy" series from The Old Hangar, I'm considering revisting it using FS2002. I started with a report on the Pyramids of FS98 and I'll be restarting with a report on the Pyramids of FS2002. If anyone knows anything about FS2002 pyramids in Mexico or South America I'd like to know! My official aircraft will be Bill's Tri-Pacer Amphibian. Currently, I'm flying the Nile River Southbound from Cairo. I'm overnighting in Luxor at the airport in my Tri-Pacer. ;D Thanks! Christopher

I'm not going to name the outfit, but there is a group out there who is selling CD's with FSX Flights on them! ;D For $XX.00 Euro's you get to go to all the Built-In "Landmarks" For FsX! I believe there is also an adventure game addon like the old FS4 SubLogic Hawaiian SceneryDisk. I think it's great! Since this goes right along with my "Jonesing With Indy" project I am going to be collecting Screen Shots and Flights for FS2002 for all the Landmarks I can find. When the package is done, I'll post it here! For $00.00 Dollars or Euros! That's right! Absolutely Free! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D 100% Money-Back Guarantee if NOT satisfied! Thanks, Guys! ChristopherT

Here's exactly what I said I'd post! 20 Flights to all the default landmarks in FS2002 and above with screenshots! This is part one, part two will follow. Instructions for which Beech18 to download and install are in the .zip files! ;D ChristopherT Attachments:

Part two of two... I'm not sure how picky FS2002 is about loading flights when the aircraft aren't installed. FS98 used to give you an error then load the flight. Now that we've touched on all the basic landmarks, I'm going to go back and do all the not-so-basic ones too. Like the Eiffel Tower, Lady Liberty and others, Natural and Man-Made! ;D ChristopherT Attachments:

Good stuff Christopher. I may go find my FS2002 discs and try them out I've still got FS98 running Golden Wings! ;D I'm overnighting in Istanbul, Turkey tonight, looking for the Hagia Sophia Church. After that it's down the coast to find the area where Troy used to be! I looked at my original Jonesing with Indy posts on The Old Hangar for FS98 and I noticed I was using a Beech18 there too. Must be traditional now! ;D Thanks, Tom! ChristopherT

I found my disks, installed and added some stuff. I flew the Leaning Tower flight, but got the new Cessna 162 for FSX so I haven't done any others yet I set up my home base from back then and for 10 year old scenery, Lauren & I did pretty good. Attachments:

I flew the Leaning Tower flight, but got the new Cessna 162 for FSX so I haven't done any others yet I set up my home base from back then and for 10 year old scenery, Lauren & I did pretty good. I checked out FSX at Best Buy tonight! Beh! I don't even have that much space on this HD! ;D I'm sticking with FS2002 for now! Ivan Hsu's MDL Converter has worked really great so I have no qualms about downloading FS2004 Aircraft now! Occasionally, I'll have to use new .Air files or .cfg files but that's the easy part! It does look nice, I'll grant you that! I uploaded the European Flights tonight, after that is Asia, Africa, and then the "New World"! One spoiler from the upcoming Asian set of flights..."At least I did find Mt Arrarat where it belonged!" Once I'm done with those sets I'll see what strikes my fancy! ;D Christopher

The Asia Set uses Milton Shupes Beech18 Passenger Amphibian for FS2004! ;D I converted it using the model converter and it works great in FS2002. The next sets are Africa and N. America using the Beech18 Cargo Amphibian. ;D Christopher Attachments:

Okay, Here it is, the last set! North and South America for FS2002! ;D At this point I'm going to slow down a bit and do some freelancing! I'll post one or two areas a week, whatever strikes my fancy! If anyone here on this forum has any requests, then let me know! ;D Have Fun! ;D Christopher Attachments:
