Did the flight on 1st June but have only now been able to finish editing the video, what with computer problems and goodness knows what. I and my Dutch friend Wim flew from Galinat to Cavarc in the Lot-et-Garonne stopping off at Sarlat Domme airfield and flying past the airfield at Belvès. The video is now in my blog's video gallery and you can see it by clicking on the following image, which is taken from it and shows final for runway 33 at Cavarc. Hope you enjoy it. I'm not sure about the music of this one. Roger

Thanks guys. I had a magical flight today (Sunday), not because of the weather or vis or anything like that but just because of where I went to. I've been promising myself a flight down to Rocamadour and as I wasn't able to get there while my son and his girlfriend were here a week or so ago, today was the day. I'm doing a write-up for my blog right now but here's a taster - just still pics as it was too bumpy most of the time for a video. You could really only get the pics I shot from an ultralight - unless you've got your own helicopter Roger

What a wonderful series of photos, Roger. Spectacular landscapes. I went to Rocamadour via Google Maps and here's a link to a Streetview:- goo.gl/maps/gJx6rWhy would anyone build in this location?, I thought to myself. So then I Googled "Rocamadour" and Wiki came up with this:- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RocamadourThe internet can be such a powerful educational resource.

Bruce, I've been told not to bother going there during the tourist season because it's full of souvenir shops and a total tourist trap, so I'll go in a few weeks time when the season is coming to an end. I've also been told that not too far away from Rocamadour there's an underground grotto which you get into by lift and then you travel by boat for about a km on an underground river. It's quite spectacular apparently so that will be a must at the same time.

You're welcome Steve. It's a bonus for me if people enjoy sharing the flights I do as much as I do 'doing' them in the first place (shucks, you know what I mean ) Roger
