I'm very late to the table I know, but since upgrading my PC I'm spending a lot of my idle moments getting my FSX up to date. I've just put in the SOH native FSX version of the Puss Moth and I don't have any dark panels in the models that should have them - all my panels are white. I suspect that this was dealt with ages ago but I'd appreciate any advice from them's as know how to make my dark panels work.
Cheers,
Roger

I just had a quick look Roger and all 8 call for the silver panel. You can easily edit the aircraft.cfg in notepad though. Just look for the paint(s) you want to have the dark panel and change panel=silver to panel=dark
That should do it.

You'd have thought Tom. But for some reason that I can't fathom they stay white though Roger Just back to say that although I don't have it on my PC now, I seem to recall having dark panels in FS9. However, I've just checked a 'copy over' of the Puss Moth FS9 files in FSX standard that I have on this PC and all the panels are white. I've also just made all of the panels of the 'native FSX' version in FSX Acceleration dark and they've stayed white. I'm wondering if it's something to do with my graphics card and the graphics image files that have been used in this model? BTW it's only the VC - [Shift1] brings up a black panel
