I just did an automatic update on my Windows 8 to 8.1, now all the aircraft and scenery views are blurred and unusable. I have two FS9 installs and they are both effected. No other simulators (IL2 1946 and CFS2) are effected by this issue. I'm hoping someone will be able to help me out or all my work in FS9 is no good. Thanks.

Stoney........what very little I know about computers etc., it sounds to me like a conflict between your Windows 8.1 update and your video card.
Try going to your video card maker and download the newest driver. I would think that "should" take care of it.
I'm still using Windows 7....but turned the auto update feature off, just for that reason.
Hope this helps...........good luck!!
Cheers,

Thanks sgtmajor, I'll make that a last resort, but it's a good plan if nothing else works.

I just D/L the Windows 8.1 driver for my NVIVIA GeForce GT620 card and thank goodness all is fine again. I've been building my "Golden Wings" install for YEARS now and the thought of not flying into Alaskan remote bush strips in snowy weather let me quite numb boys.
