My first train set.....can't remember how old I was, probably less than 10. Believe it or not, I still have that little HO set, and it still runs.....smoke and all. (smile) You had to put a couple drops of an oil substance down the stack, and then it would smoke. Hard to believe the thing still works after all these years.

Perhaps Bruce.....but trust me.....just by looking, you can tell it was a favorite pastime of mine.....lots of wear!!! On the bright side....I have a brother-in-law that restores old train sets, and has actually attended one of the factory schools. (I think it was Lionel) He keeps telling me to send it out his way, and he'll clean it up and make it like new again........perhaps I'll take him up on his offer, as he does some fabulous work. Hmmm....with Christmas coming up, perhaps I'll get it out and set it up once again. Cheers,
