Yup, I'm still around but since getting back from our west coast of France tour, I had a few things to catch up on. But most of all, I've spent more time than on the flight itself editing pics (most of which are stunning) and videos and writing it all up for my blog. Further reason also explained in day 6 posting, but if you do read all the postings, do them in order and leave that one til last. All finished now so I've got my life back again. For anyone interested, here are the links on my blog. Like I say, best to do them in order I think. The planningDay 1Video - Day 1Day 2Video - Day 2Day 3Video - Day 3Day 4Video - Day 4Day 5Video - Day 5Day 6 (Final)Video - Day 6ConclusionsHope you enjoy. All of the video links now go through to '.webm' files that, if I understand it, play in most (all?) of the main browsers on most (all?) devices including Windows PCs, Androids and Apple thingies. It's nice to be back here! Roger

Roger....Perfect timing my friend!!! (smile)
It's almost 2 A.M., here and it's been a very long day. I just sat down with a nice glass of red wine(Shiraz) and a few crackers and cheese. Then plan on heading off to bed. Watched the first video of your wonderful adventure. My....how I envy you!!! (smile) I'd love to be able to do something like that......but guess I'll have to be satisfied with viewing your wonderful video's and pictures and listening to your tales. (smile)
Many....MANY Thanks my dear friend!!! I cant' express how much I enjoy hearing and seeing other's adventures!!!!
Cheers,

I have a streaming issue in that it takes forever for the video to buffer. I get about 20 seconds into it (the video) and then the buffering symbol kicks in again and the video stops for another 40 seconds and so on and on it goes, unfortunately. Three weeks ago I moved to a new ISP provider with ASDL2 ....much faster than my previous mobile connection, so I assume it's not that. Anyone else have this type of problem?

Bruce, I think my hosting company has a short-term server problem. Maybe if you have a go a bit later they will have solved it and it'll work. I'm having problems just getting into my customer admin area at the moment so something must be wrong.

Just found out that they were rebooting the shared hosting servers to apply critical updates, Bruce, so should be OK now as it was only going to take an hour.

Hi all, thanks for the comments so far. Because 'flv' files are no longer supported and can really only be viewed on Windows PCs, I'm updating the videos on my blog. So all of the video links in my original post now link through to 'webm' files that I understand play on almost anything.
Be interested to hear back from anyone who can get a chance to try them out because although they work on my PC and Android tablet, they're very slow. Be nice to know how they work in the real world. Also, if anyone's got an iPhone, it'd be nice to get some feedback on that as I know that my old 'flv' files were a total no-no as far as they were concerned.

In case anyone has been viewing the various pages of my blog via the above links and is totally confused, I'd just like to say that after doing Day 1, I 'upgraded' to Wordpress 4.2.2 which is a total and utter travesty. It is full of bugs and managed to keep reverting to earlier versions of pages whenever I tried to update them and also somehow managed to merge various pages.
After noticing, I've just managed to sort them all out and now all of the links go to proper pages and not a load of mixed up gobbledegook.
I see that 4.2.3 is now out so maybe Wordpress have realised and resolved the issues. I just wish they'd test things properly before encouraging people to use their software, especially when things were stable before.
