FSX gets a respectable #128 which is not bad for what we are informed is a niche market. But Goat Sim at #7 and Farming sim at #77. They are not niche? Baaaaaah.

At MS? it Was "0"..and would have been forgotten...Like FS9,and "FLIGHT" Has!!...STEAM gave us back FSX with no DISK and no Pass words..Like we were a Russian spy's or something..never in all the Years with FSX has it been preforming so well..I Thank steam..they keep desk Top simming alive with FSX...

Interesting numbers. 150,000 mostly new flightsimmers. Almost 1.5 million hours played on steam in 7 months. That's a good start for a re-issue of a 10 year old sim, especially since the hard-core FSX owners gave it a miss.
The train sim numbers were interesting too. 625,000 players 41.5 MILLION hours #31 game on steam.
Not bad for niche sims

Yes very encouraging and even if retention of 10-15% of those new simmers can be realised as "hard-core", the future looks good. I bought it in a $5 sale. I don't use it though, maybe if my original disc FSX goes into meltdown I will. So it exists for that purpose. Otherwise I have discovered DCS. That is such a rewarding sim. It has been many years since I did a military sim so just getting my head around the various weapons systems has been a challenge but what a sense of achievement you get when you successfully complete a mission. Very rewarding. The basic program is free which cannot be bad for that you get a Mustang and a Su-25.

Totally On FSX Steam..They Maintain it.A+B Comparisons show me STEAM better Performance..They Update periodically...Have both Running DISK and STEAM....Most new Stuff is OK for Steam...As this is a very old Game, and MICROSOFT gave up on it, along with FS9,and Flight..Steam gave it new life ..To find and get FSX GOLD DISK?? almost impossible to get.."If" Will be at great cost...but when a sale at Steam?? $5 bucks SAMOSAMO? makes Sence!..My STEAM FSX is LOADED.Flying .better than I ever had it....It seems IF going to WIN 10,/ many report trouble.on My FS9 Rig..I lost it all..years of stuff.Deleted WIN 10 alls well..If any could share experience would be great...I will wait, hunker down and stay with WIN 7...
