Can't speak for anyone else, Stoney, but I lost all my fs stuff (along with all my personal photos, videos, music etc) when my computer drive crashed end of last year and have never got around to reinstalling it. Just can't face it all, yet again, somehow. As I'm real-world flying anyway, I think I'll wait until I see what the new Dovetail sim is all about when it's released before I make the effort. That's if I do at all.
That's a nice nostalgic kind of shot, BTW

10-4 boys. Simming is the only way I can indulge my love of all aviation, particularly aviation of the golden age. Can't afford to fly for real anymore. I soloed a Piper J-3 (N92360) on 5-22-66 at age 17. Now you need an FAA endorsement to fly a tail wheel airplane. Times are changing and I'm done changing.

ITS NEVER OVER UNTIL ITS OVER Stony..until recently ,an old friend had his home built,He being 86 and I now 84 now would go flying..His plane,he built it so he was PIC..RV-4, however i see and hear better, which makes us team..not often but once in a while,on NICE DAYS we go flying..we like scaring the Seagulls,,, That is Mr. and Mrs.Seagull on the beaches..Yes Desk Top simming still gives me a continuity to what many love..."FLIGHT" .What Ever flys I Like...From a Bumble Bee to he moon lander...I now have installed FS9,FSX,and FSXSE..and still its my Magic Carpet in my now Walter Mitty world....This Pic about 5 years ago on the Gulf Coast Of Florida...HAPPY LANDINGS!! My Friend Joe with the Funny Shirt..Bear in mind this 5 yrs ago

Thanks Beana. Beautiful! There's a fellow around here who has a bright yellow RV and he come screaming over going over to the Hendricks county airport county airport, can't miss the sound. I always run outside to watch. Just like a kid. But, I guess kids don't look up at airplanes anymore.

ha ha Stoney, even though I'm lucky enough to still fly I still look up to see what's going over. My house is outside of the official low-level corridors that the French A/F use for training but pairs of Mirages still come screaming overhead at about 500 - 1000 feet often banked over at 90 degrees as they begin their turn back from where they came. My Dutch friend Wim always keeps low in his Weedhopper but I tell him that that's when they can't see you. You need to be higher than them against the sky - or have a transponder!
