Bill has included a quite a number of *goodies* with each of his creations. It's essential that you READ ALL DOCUMENTATION that comes with each package. A lot of your questions/frustations are answered in the documentation -kofi

1. I'd like to incorporate Golden Hawaii full time in my regular Fs9 without losing parts of Australasia. What do I need to move etc.
a. With Golden Hawaii active, go to the scenery\ocen\scenerytb folder and copy all BGLs EXCEPT those listed below into the scenery folder.

2.How can I install some programs into FSGW that dont seem to want to install ?
A. Tom discovered, there is an easy way to fool most of them. Since you have renamed the FS9.exe to FSGW.exe, you can create a new text document in the FSGW folder and rename it FS9.exe
Install programs will find it and work, and since its a text file, it will not run like an exe if you click on it accidentally
3. middle asked..does an airfield list exist somewhere that could be inserted in the main folder to eliminate the names of the nopw non-existent fields after installing GW3? every once in awhile I set up a flight on a given field and the plane is in a house or crashed into something because the original field is no longer there
just curious i can certainly live with it....
A. Tom answered...KORD, KLAX, KSEA, KDFW, KMIA, KPHX, KJFK, KSFO, KLAS, KSTL, KMLI, KPDX, KDEN, KCGX, KIAD, KATL and perhaps a couple I missed are covered over in GW3 but still show in the Go To Airports menu. Removing them from there would require modifying a number Microsoft bgls which for obvious reasons we are not going to do. You can post this list on the side of your monitor and avoid using them.

4...Are there any scenery upgrades, putting in light becons on major airways?
In that period of time, NDB navigation was a very new thing, and not exactly convenient, thats why I want to try simulating it. There arent very many NDBs left on the default FS9 scenery, and no more in the GW scenery. Certenly none in the four airway configuration, that uses "N" and "A" to stay on course. Has anyone built a patch, putting back all the origional NDBs from that period? And has anyone built a guage for the DC-3 where you can hear the Morse code N and A?
Thanks

A. Beacons can be found in rwy12 library for installation in fs9 or Gw. Flightsim has bcntwriz.zip which is for rwy12. I put beacons in my gw right where they were in Ohio when I was flying.
Good luck.. JIM
