And this Travel Air will have itself a home also... This scenery will provide many hours of fun. With many missions to be flown, your piloting skills will be put to the test. Some missions include a cargo flight to restock a small village, but the runway is sloping upwards, so you have to be careful. It is still work in progress, just as the Travel Air is, so what you see now is just scratching the surface.

This is going to be one fantastic airplane and scenery package! Grey box or mirrors, I wouldn't care, it will be great to have in the hanger. I'll even take it as is - call it the Travel Air Grey Phantom Ghost w/Smoke&Mirrors - TA-0000GPG Model SM. Definitely looking forward to this package! ;D Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D

Used to fly into an airport in Pa. late at night, I think it was St. Marys or something like that. Anyhow the runway was between two hills, high on both ends and low in the middle. Lotsa fun, never went there in the daylight to see what the scenery looked like. Hmmmmmmmm... might have to see if I can find it in the sim.
Good looking airplane Gil, I think this is gonna have to be on my must have list.
Cheers,
Phil

Here's the real thing in Salmon, Idaho. This plane was at an antique fly-in in Three Forks, Montana a few gears ago and I was fortunate enough to see it. What a thrill it was when he fired up that big radial!!!!! www.aviation-history.com/travelair/6000b-1.htmBruzee

Spad! YESSSSSSSS!
I had always wanted to do this one but I am buried on projects. I am so glad you are doing it. It is a beauty of a plane and should be a real eye catcher. Its really a cool plane.
I think I have a bunch of info on it, but might have been on the other computer. If I find it, I'll send it your way.

Please do Bill, that would be really appreciated. I'm hoping to work with the owner of NC9038, Mr Hank Galpin, in order to bring a high level of accuracy to the project. This came about as a result from an e-mail from the owner of the American Airways Stearman, Pemberton & Sons aviation in Spokan, Washington. mywebpages.comcast.net/biplane0/The Pembertons are close friends of Mr Galpin and have offered to put me in touch. Very neat stuff.
