This looked interesting... has anyone used or tried this? Have a look, I found this over at the 2004 forums: This is from www.flightsim.comFS-ACOF - Misc. FS2004 GA-Traffic 1.0 Name: gatraffi.zip Size: 7,836,714 Date: 05-01-2004 Downloads: 5927 FS2004 GA-Traffic 1.0. GA-Traffic is the first fully automatic general aviation (GA) traffic generator for FS2004. Features: Generate GA traffic for every installed airport of the whole FS2004 world at once; Fully automatic detection of installed planes and airports; Simulate different GA traffic behavior; 'Virtual landing fees' unique algorithm to avoid GA traffic generation on busy commercial airports; Amphibian planes used only near seaports; Amount of plane usage selectable for every livery; Different plane usage (taxi, business, rental, student, club and private) selectable for every livery; Unique 'Make AI' function to reduce the texture size of add-on planes to hold the frames per second up.; Proofed aircraft files for correct AI flying behavior; Integrated TrafficTools from Lee Swordy, no need to manual generate the traffic files. Yes I use it and it works well in harmony with the Golden age, and Hawaii AI traffic as well. One word of caution ... is that while it won't use aircraft above a certain weight or Float planes ... IT will use automobiles. There is something disconcerting about waiting to take-off - holding for a 37 ford to land. If you install it, go to the aircraft listings ... find the things (like autos) and to the right there is an entry location titled "Probability % .... highlight the Auto, for example and enter in the probability % box "0" and a question mark will appear next to the auto ... you won't see any airborne autos after that.

It is an excellent and nifty program indeed ! But be careful .. Your pay or freeware models are generally heavier on frame rate than the default aircraft and using GA-Traffic with all your stuff may slow down your simulation specially around airport.

Thanks, now I can take the time to download it. I have dial up and that file is almost 8 megs which takes me about an hour to get. So, I will get that tonight and give it a try. I suppose I should change the probability on the "SKIER" from the Ryan STA package of Bill Lyons... That would be ONE LARGE ski jump. Jim

without doubt ... I remember after I first installed it .... getting ready to take off ... had not really paid much attention to what will fly and not, and waiting and waiting for an RV on a long lazy approach to land. That got me to look more closely at the instructions and the AIrcraft lists.
