A great day for flying as we make our way toward Oklahoma City from Fort Worth. A quick flight over the hangers show that once again our piloting skills have brought us to our intended destination. A look at the Oklahoma City Terminal as we taxi past on our way to the hangers. Oklahoma City was the home base for Braniff airlines when they first began business. Here's a recreation of what the original Braniff hanger looked like. On our way to the second hanger that was built before Braniff moved the operation to Texas. Looks like a good enough place to stop. Time to get out and find something good to eat! Speaking of good places to eat, make sure you head for the opposite side of the field to load up some good 'ol, finger licking, lip smacking Oklahoma Bar-B-Q! Look at the size of this place! I'll bet it can hold all the NAT pilots, crew and maintenance workers. Legend has it that there is more going on here than just eating. Only way to know for sure is to check it out yourself. Bill
