Hello Bill, and Lynn, you requested feedback in your readme from the 54 piper apache file......great airplane. something about this plane that amazes alot of simmers. I know it's for FS9 but i have for a long time been adding aircraft for FS9 to FSX, and some of course without the .gau files. They still fly great with a bit less realizm which for me is ok with some aircraft. when this piper apache is flown in FSX it has an icing of the windows, wings and engine cowling which does not occur in FS9. I have flown several flight plans around alaska and it begins at around 4400ft to 8100ft and is a real cool effect. some that i have spoken with say how could this be an effect with the aircraft if it's designed for FS9? Or is it an effect of FSX? Well, we are not sure, at least i have no answers myself or any from the simmers i have talked with. anyway, however it happens it is a cool effect in FSX and is flown in both FS9 and FSX......thanks for the great work on this plane and all your wonderful work. we would with your permission like to have this special Piper Apache in our library. www.globalaviationnetwork.org Thanks again. savageagle / GA864 sierra-alpha / GAN Missions Designer

The effect is actually present in FS2004 also - and you'll get it if you don't turn on your heat in FS2004

Thank you Kofi,
I have never run into an aircraft that had such an effect like that. I should had done more homework on the aircraft or i would have known that.........reading i mean. I hope soon bill will update the .gau files for this plane. So far it works great in FSX but without the .gau files.......great work bill. Thanks again Kofi.

Lynn & Bill have retired from Flightsim development. There will be no further updates. What you have is what there is.

Surely I read a thread recently by one of our members (and I apologise for forgetting their name) who had done a lot of work updating the panel for FSX? Worth doing a little search I think
