I will have the zip file ready by the end of the week, if all goes well. Look for the link in the SessionII post.
Thanks again for taking an interest in this project.

Thanks guys, much appreciated. I hope this is understandable for all. I am not approaching this as I am teaching a first grader, so if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
Edit additions:
The next few sessions will be a bit tricky for a beginner, but not all that hard to understand. I will try to keep each session to a minimum of work so you don't get overwhelmed.
The next session,Session III, will deal with setting up the ADE to create the airfield and the Flatten Mask Class Map ExcludeAutoGen polygon. A complicated term, but very easy to place. This will allow us to create data for the airport in FS, and remove all Auto Gen objects within the polygon area.
Explaining the process is much more complicated than actually creating the data, and placing the polygon. So, this will take a few days to complete. Remember, I am creating this tutorial in FSX, and much of the same process can be done in FS9 if you know and understand your tools.
I also suggest you get familiar with the tools we will be using, and I can't stress this enough. Time doesn't allow me to go into depth of knowledge regarding each tool, that is your responsibility. I will improve the tutorial as I take each step.

I have decided to post the zip file for the ADE only, because it has all our information in it for creating the airfield. I should have another session, and the zip file produced today. Sunday and especially Monday are my days for production of these tutorials.

Hi Gang, ok, I have the new session up, and it has a link to the ADE file for the airfield. Just change the .zip extension to .ade to make it work with ADE.
Have fun.

I have a new session up for the airfield project in FSX. Remember, the original ADE file is in the third session, and is the starting point for our new session, or use the file you have produced while following along. I hope you are having fun doing this, and will let us know if you have any questions along the way.
Thanks for following along.

Hi Gang,
I just wanted to update you, so you know I haven't left the planet.
Things are a bit rough here at home, and I have been taking care of them. Also, I have been working with ADE to learn more about how it works. I have been learning more about the object placement, and traffic sides of the tool. So, these are some reasons why I haven't placed a new session up for the Project Airfield.
I should have something more this weekend, or the first part of next week.

I guess I should appologize for the delay in the final session for the project airfield. I have been work on converting the files to my personal website for use there too. I hope to have the final done by next Monday.

I thought I would drop a link here for the tutorials as they are setup at Adventure Asylum - ADE Tutorials. These are the same tutorials as the ones here at TOH with slight mods to them. Of course, it is a work in progress. I'm trying to weed out bad information, and text. It's only been a couple days since I placed the files there, and for some reason, when copying the files to the server, I found some of the information was corrupted. Also, I am learning Dreamweaver to help with consistancy between pages, and browsers. So far, the only thing I have found for mistakes are in the coding tags, which in all reality is my fault for being in a rush. Any suggestions will be considered. Also, the minimum resolution for the pages is 1024x768, and this will not change. Higher resolution browsers should handle the pages fairly well. I never tested the pages with any other browser other than IE 7.0.
