Back in the middle 60's I worked for Pacific Northern Airlines in Kodiak, AK and we used to fill the speedpacks up with individual 10# boxes of King Crab being shipped all over. Fell in love with the Connie on my first ride on the way up there.

I like it a lot too, Bruce! Looks good on the Eastern - like it was always meant to be there! Shoot, before I saw a couple of development screenshots awhile back, I didn't even know there was such a thing. Interesting about the King Crab, Meryl. I wonder what else they loaded up in there - perfect place for some fine naturally 'frosted' brew of sorts . . . Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D

I have the Dragon model of VH-EAD (sister of VH-EAF) sitting on my desk mere inches away from this computer. Livery is identical to that above. Guess I'll have to download that texture set. Bruce

....Too many engines Just think of the factor of safety, Tom. Dan, thanks for the HU on the new paints. They're must-haves. Bruce PS I just noticed that TWA is the odd-man out when it comes to design for the tail livery; the company logo on the outer fins and the national flag on the central fin. Was TWA not an international carrier at that time? (Yet Eastern has that same theme and it wasn't an international operator).

They are beautiful. I suppose I should collect them although I probably would never fly them. Too many engines They are beautiful, Tom - but, your right, a lot more work then a single engine Cessna. This version seems to be easier to fly then earlier FS versions, but there's still cowling, throttle, mixture, MP, ext. ext. settings that have to be adjusted at specific times (most can be set for one engine, which sets all four simultaneously). It does keep one busy though, but then again adds a lot of realism to it all and interesting fun in realizing what it took to fly one of these!! Your more then welcome, Bruce! I didn't notice that fin anomaly with TWA nor Eastern. I'm going to have to look into that and find out - interesting!! Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D

Lovely stuff! Thanks, Dan............I'm off to get them too. Bruce EDIT:I couldn't resist the Speedpack version of the original L079 of Qantas Empire Airways. A note for those who are sticklers for accuracy:- This aircraft is listed in the pop-up selector in FSim as belonging to "Qantas Imperial Airways. That is incorrect. You can replace "Imperial" with "Empire" if you want to be accurate. Bruce
