I did look as far as page 7 of this thread and couldn't find anything - that doesn't mean it's not there, it just means I getting older and....
Much of my software was useless after (Fall or 2008) my old trusty computer of almost six years died. I replaced it with what I thought, and am still convinced is, a really hot machine that doesn't even slow down for the toughest settings in FSX - though I run FS9 and GW3 almost exclusively.
I ask Santa for and received Windows7. I understand I should be able to run many of my 32 bit programs (which are usless in Vista)in Windows 7.
Well, a move from the Washingtom Metro Area to Syracuse, still waist deep in boxes, etc, etc (not that I'm procrastinating)(Why is my nose growing???) and I've not yet installed the Big 7 - but I'm about to. Anyone know of any problems with 7 and FS9, GW3, and/or FSX???
If there are a bunch of entries here, please just direct me towards them!
Many thanx!!!
Stew

I disabled the evil User Account Control. I'm the only person using this computer and I think I can control me just fine. It has no other use or value despite all the "Omigodsecurity" whining you may hear from people who believe otherwise. Once that was done, I found Win7 to be a step forward in some ways from Vista. It still tries to be cook, butler, baby sitter and nanny and has trouble being content as just an operating system. It also introduces some weird little irritants but, YES, it runs FS very well. I currently only have FSX on Win7 but I had FS9 running beautifully before that hard drive quit. I wouldn't go back.
