I was thinking Jens B. Kristensen would be good to ask about gauges.
I'm not sure what the protocol is, but I imagine a quick e-mail for permission seems about right.

Working on a panel with FSX/FS9 default gauges to supplement the originals that FSX accepts. My understanding is that it is ok to use them for a project like this. Attachments:

Looks nice. Did the model shine work for you? Thank you. No chance to get into Modelshine. Too much going on at the moment. Check PM.

I received an e-mail from Francesco Giuli last night. He's looking into shining up the model. Here is a very early development shot of what I've been toying with. It's already out of date. The floats are now mostly done, the entire fuselage, wings and tail are all different. I'm hoping that it will shine up well with the new model. I've used the prop by Jens B. Kristensen. (mental note - I still need to e-mail for permission.) and need to work the frozen prop discs issue.

Thanks for the offer! We may need that. I've had to re-read e-mails several times because we're trying to communicate in english. Here's the latest. Still lots to do, but the little one is calling and she's not happy.

That's looking real good Chris! Getting ready to e-mail Jens on the instruments, will ask about using the props also.

Progress!! Still a lot of work to be done, but Francesco supplied me with a glossy model. I added some alphas to the textures and here we have... a SHINING work in progress. Still lots to be done, but at least we're headed in the right direction.

My apologies for the lack of updates. I haven't had time to do much this week due to work and the family. Hopefully, a rainy day will come and I'll have the opportunity to hammer this repaint out.

I finally made some progress. Here is the latest snapshot, taken on a quick trip out to Catalina. She's just about ready for testing to see if she's fit for human consumption. I still need to do some work on the pilots and cockpit.

A Current work-in-progress. A bit of a stretch, but why not. Am I missing anything? (Other than registration number.)
