I think I'll use method 1 as it may be easier to remove than to add things. 2 Q though:
Q1 = In STEP 7: C. Drag a copy of the fs9.cfg file to the Macromedia folder. D. Rename the copy to fsgw.cfg and drag it back to the fs9 folder. What's the Macromedia folder?
Q2 = I've made quite a few WW2 airfields & have some vintage airfield addons like a 1930 Croydon & UK2000 Biggin Hill, eg. Will GW remove these? Thanks.

Hello. The install instructions can be a little confusing, but for the CFG, just make a copy of your original CFG and rename it to fsgw and put the new CFG back with the original.
For your addon airfields and such, you will have to try each one and see if they conflict or not.
Be advised that addon airfields/afcads in GW3 need to be modified a bit from FS9 to work right.

Bill & I both had a Macromedia folder just above the Microsoft folder. We thought it was default. Just use any folder.
GW3 will not remove your airports but you will need to check each one for conflicts. I don't remember what fields might have been done over there..
Be sure to get the updates from the download page.
