Hey Craig,
The exterior looks fantastic, and just curious, how is the interior VC looking?

VC is basically finished, apart from some texturing. A couple of pics of the FSX native version with SP2 DX10.

VC textures are in good advanced progress state, as the other external variations. E17 had a new "wooden" treatment and new ID letters. If all goes well, it'll be out sooner that what yout think people!

Nice pics Roger! I see it is doing well in FSX. I've seen some of Craigs pics with the self shadowing and it looks wonderful.
Ahoi Slide! the KuK Kriegsmarine was a real nightmare for the Italian Navy in many ways since the 1880s; don't forget the "torpedo" is an Austrian invention. You'll be interested to know the Lohner was also produced for the Kaiserliche Marine in Germany and proved to do very well in the Baltic. I have some black and white pics and wanted to do a repaint, but I am uncertain of certain details so....keine freude kumpel!

Well, the SVA was its direct rival at the Adriatic front; or course there were other types (mainly Ansaldo and Caproni) but, Alas!, the SVA is the only one for the sim (bty now, I'd like to see a nice Caproni CA33 bomber one day....(fingers crossed!!!) Hey Damian, according to Manuele, he will be will start building a Caproni for FS9/FSX around october 2010 (hopefully), after he has finished with his current project the Fiat Cr42. Wolfgang

Ahoi Ahoi - I have already had my flying fun in the Lohner, too. Very nice little boat with a truck engine. I like the way the pilot moves the throttle, cool detail anyway having parts of the cockpit outboard! Those Lohner-Boys were quite futuristic in their days. The young Ferdinand Porsche worked for them around the year 1900. His very first creation was a little electric driven car made for the Lohner company. I do not know much about the maritime history of Austria, but I always saw them as people only living in the mountains, with this awful Vienna accent saying "Kiss die Hand, gnää Frau ..." ... kinda funny Now, I know they had that fat "Radetzki"-Dreadnought, (another bad joke: "Marschmusik" - "Radetzki-Marsch, worst of all LOL") and they had Triest and it´s harbor, but I never learned anything about that in school...

Wolfgang Very good news! Manuele is the right guy for that plane. I had a sort of "premonition" that could eventually happen one day...lol. There are some interesting developments on the Lohner, Craig may do some other variations since it is getting really hot; let's cross the fingers and stay tuned people!
