I downloaded and installed this aircraft to check it out.
The VC does not support gauge backlighhting or lightmaps so our only option is to use the vclight in the lights section of the aircraft.cfg.
I replaced a commented out light with the following for a not-too-bright night light. Try this in your lights section replacing light #7:
light.7=4, -2.10, 0, 0, fx_vclight ,
Hope this helps.

Lights on! Click! Just enough to see what I need to see - perfect! Thank you very much, Milton - that will double my fun with the Provider! After searching in the panel.cfg I had come across the Lights section in the aircraft.cfg in the meantime and tried replacing Light #4 with a line I took from the default DC-3 but that didn´t work either... The skin, funny you ask, Damian, is homegrown, I made it back when the Provider was new and it was inspired by Milton´s Howard! Thanks again!
