This is great news indeed ! I'll be happy to make some low poly AI Lohner's, I've just got to learn how to do Multi LOD models.

This indeed good news Craig! just one model will be enough ( I think there is no need to do all of them) and I'd go for the "L" (since we want to bomb Venice....haha!).

Well... The project is in progress. Currently, the u-boot station buildings are in place, men and officer quarters of the seeflugstation are placed, the landclass is corrected. The picture was taken with true heading 276 degrees, from the point to SE from u-boot station.

Nice development! is it GW3 or a default FS9 installation? I am asking because I have some meshes for that zone, but I cant remember if they modify that particular region or not.

It is default MSFS2004 mesh, only a landclass is modified to simple "plane grass". Mesh altitudes would not be affected by this scenery. If this scenery is placed above mesh scenery level for this region, all will work correctly, I hope.
Would you like to test the current version? If any troubles occurs, we can resolve them at early stage of the project.

Slide: ""Futurikon" or "Minuscule" are among my favourites 3D animations; there's plenty of them at youtube and it is an obligated view while enjoying the coffe break (go figure...I knew about it watching KIKA...lol).
Alexander, I don't think I'll have any trouble either about the corrected altitudes; I don't have any problem with testing it either; send me a copy as soon as you can.

OK! Please check PM. I found an interesting book from the "Windsock" serie on the Lohner-type seaplanes:

Yep, that book has been one of our main source when Craig did the Lohners.

I use a mesh for the area and it did not work very well. Aerial view how it comes out with the coastline This is how most of the buildings appear in my sim, somewhat hanging in the hill. Maybe create a "flatten"? I think that a mesh for the area is recommendable because there is such a beautiful landscape.

Please tell me where can I find the airport; how does it appear in the selection box? I have no "kumbor" in the list.

Sorry, colleagues! The exact position of the scenery' center is: N42.43982 E18.58497 Because of numerous different meshes avaliable, I simply use only default scenery - anybody have this mesh too. The seaplane base area is not flat even in default scenery, it is climbing slightly (about 0.1 meter per 10 meters) from the seashore. It is close to real situation - take a look at hangar H5 (as it is numbered on the map of the base):
