That is brilliant! Don't suppose you have a Roe IV tucked away somewhere do you?

Since it has become a serious Craig's project, I am moving the thread to Craig's house.
I found a clip at youtube. It is an extract of the film, where the italian guy (A. Sordi) gets hurt in the middle of a duel between the french and the german guys. This is more than a funny moment, because that really happened in history many times during the 1800s and 1900s. An "erudite" touch! there is more in that film than what I thought. Time to watch it again, I think.

No Roe IV yet, I'm working on the more obscure ones, next up will be the Passat Ornithopter.
Yes the film has so many great moments ! imagine how much it would cost to film it these days..... Millions I'm guessing.

It had an estimated budget in 1965 of 5.5 million US dollars and grossed more than $12 million at the box office. (Those are 1965 values).
Since 1969, when it was released as a video, it has taken almost $30 million in sales worldwide. (Current dollar values).
Each of the aircraft (20) cost more than $10,000 (1965 values) to create. Bear in mind that only six of those were flyable.
