As most of us know by now, Jens B. Kristensen was working on a Boeing 314. I was curious as to how it's coming along. Has anyone heard from him lately?

I'll ask again because I haven't in quite a while. Has anyone heard from Jens? I know he was talking about making a Boeing 314.

Thanks for the info.
I pulled the @ symbol out. Apparently spambots go in and mass e-mail people from posts.

Returned late yesterday from Buffalo and found this from Jens:"Hi Steve – no need to be worried, I just havn’t been doing much FS for the last year or so because of other interests/hobbies. I am just now preparing for the Aeromodelling Free Flight European Championships, which take place in Capannori, Italy in the beginning of august. You can read about the event at www.ec2012italy.com/ I participate for Denmark in the F1B class, aka Wakefield, for rubber-powered models. It’s been a major hobby/sport for me for more than 30 years. Feel free to release this info in the TOH forums, if people are worried about me! Best regards, and thanks for writing, Jens" Stew

Thanks for the update. Glad to hear that he's doing well and getting fresh air.
It seems to me that many people involved in this hobby sit and whittle away to nothing because they don't get out much. Sometimes this is their hobby because they aren't physically able and I'm not faulting them. I realize it's their escape. Those of us that are able-bodied need to step back once in a while and go do other things- prefereably some form of physical activity out in fresh air.
