I've got FSGW3 on drive C & have just installed FS9 copied from another rarely used old Dell onto drive X for a friend to play with. FS9 works well on X but when I went to use FSGW3 by clicking the usual icon FS9 started. How do I get them both working without any confusion? ,
Thanks, Terry.

3 things to do. First, rename the fs9.exe in your GW floder to fsgw.exe. Second, make a shortcut to desktop, of the fsgw.exe. Start gw with this. Then, make a copy of the fs9 cfg and rename the copy to fsgw. Put in the same place as the fs9 one. Both FS9 and GW3 should work now.

I renamed fs9.exe to fsgw, etc, but the GW splash screen appears & then crashes.....I rename to fs9 & GW works.
Also, where's fs9 cfg kept in windows 7...?

The cfg is in, C/users/your computer name/app data/roaming/microsoft/fs9. For Win 7. Copy and rename the cfg to fsgw, and see what happens.

Ahhh...finding the appdata folder was difficult to say the least. It's hidden & took me hours to find it.... I'll try the rename after copying it first....you never know! Thanks.
