Just released this morning: store.steampowered.com/app/325976/From the description: The magic of Colorado, steam-era railroading awaits you on the Clear Creek Narrow Gauge route. Set in the 1930s, this new Train Simulator route features daunting yet majestic mountain topography; grades of up to 4 percent; switchbacks; remote but bustling mining towns; classic wooden passenger cars to carry local travelers and tourists to the “far famed” Georgetown Loop -- and the very the special appeal of diminutive but powerful narrow-gauge steam locomotives!

Just a note that there are two versions of this route; one for North American residents and the other for the rest of the world. The difference is that the NA edition features the BNSF logo whereas the international version doesn't. It's the BNSF "thing" about their damned trademark being used outside the USA.
Be aware that if you live outside NA then DO NOT buy that version as it will not work on your PC.
EDIT> It looks as if Steam have fixed their initial mistake and have now targeted to the correct version for your location, rather than both. When it was initially posted, they had both versions accessible.
This is the reason why the difference between the two.....
Clear Creek was Colorado and Clear Creek Railroad, which became Colorado Central and Pacific, which became Colorado Central, which ended up being owned by the UP till the UP had a financial collapse, then it was reorganized as the Colorado and Southern, which became part of the Burlington, which became Burlington Northern, which became Burlington Northern Santa Fe, which became BNSF.

Hmmm.....okay...peaked my interest.....off I go to take a peek. Clear Creek....if this is the narrow gauge route around Idaho Springs, I think I've heard of this route before. Thanks for the Heads Up! Cheers!

Nope......I was wrong........somewhat. (smile) I was thinking of the Cripple Creek Railroad.......however, I was also thinking of the Narrow Gauge line around Idaho Springs, so guess I was kind of 50% correct? Anyway.....I did pick up the route, however, I have only played around with it for a couple hours last evening, and about 30 minutes or so today. I do like it!!! While I don't think it will become my favorite route.....I'm quite sure it will become my Favorite Steam Route. It has been very challenging to keep a good head of steam up. While most of the speeds are around 18mph......I am probably averaging around 14-16 most the time.....but did get nabbed for speeding twice. The railroad itself has a nice Colorado Rockies feel.....I will spend a lot more time here exploring. I haven't completed or even attempted the Career or Standard modes....I usually don't. I'm always more inclined to do either quick drive or free roam modes. I may try one of the Career modes later when I get more used to the route and engine. Thanks again Tom......Great Find!! Cheers!!

For those outside USA/Canada there is a "fix" for the missing textures on our version. Courtesy someone called Rod on UKTrainsim and also Trainsim.com:-
You just need to be able to open the .rwp files and do a bit of renaming.
In the Assets/JL/ClearCreek folder make a new folder called "Textures".
Open up the ClearCreekAssets .rwp file and drag the following texture TGPCDX files into the Textures folder you have just made (best do it in the following order as one has to be renamed!)
1. From the Railvehicles/Baggage/Textures folder drag the "decals" file to your new Textures folder and rename it "bagdecals". 2. From the Railvehicles/Passenger/Textures folder drag the "decal" file to your new Textures folder. 3. From the Railvehicles/Steam/B4D/Textures folder drag the "decals" file to your new Textures folder. 4. From the Railvehicles/Freight/Boxcar/Textures folder drag the "decal1" file to your new Textures folder. 5. From the Railvehicles/Freight/Reefer/Textures folder drag the "reeferdecal" file to your new Textures folder.
That's it - fire up the sim and admire the textures...

Interesting Bruce.....however, I'm not sure exactly which textures you are referring to. From your earlier post I'm guessing it's BNSF textures?? If so.....my installed route doesn't have those either, however, from what I've read, I didn't think the BNSF ran that route......I took it as a Union Pacific route at one time. But.....with that said, I also need to add the disclaimer, that I am the LAST person that should be talking about railroads and routes......I just don't follow that stuff very closely.
I'll have to look around and see if I can find the folders you mention and give it a try and see what happens. Might be very interested indeed. (smile)
Cheers!!
Edit: I went and looked for the files and no luck. For this fact, I hate Steam as I can never find where anything is installed. (smile) Oh......I found the route etc., however, all I can find is .bin files. I even did a global computer search for *.rwp files, however, the only ones found was for my Lakeside Line purchased through another site.......and those are stored on a different drive than my Steam account. SO....either a.) I don't know what I'm doing...........b.) I have too much junk on my computer..........or c.) All the above!!!! (smile)
I'll keep an eye open.....if I happen to stumble across the folder one of these days, I'll give it a try. (and of course, you know this is going to bug me now..........time to take a break and jump on the treadmill.....perhaps I will have an epiphany or something and figure it out......Smile)

Isn't that strange!!! Yes....I'm seeing exactly what the screenshots show. Seems like a lot of extra effort for a developer to have to try to hide wording just to publish outside of the U.S. This is one of those....I'll never understand things. (smile) Cheers!

The wording is applied as a separate texture layer so it is pretty easy to just not apply them ....which is exactly what they did in the international version. The layers are still included...which is why they can be applied by following the instructions and using a utility which will open the compressed .rwp file.

Well.....now that I have several hours behind the "reverser" so-to-speak....(smile) I do like this route very much. In the beginning.....I didn't think the graphics were all that good....however, after using it now, I actually have changed my opinion. Quite good indeed in most places. There are a few area's where I question if the buildings etc., are at scale.....but it's a game....so who cares?
One thing that seems quite different to me than other routes. It seems you have to really manage your steam and fire much more. Again.....is that realistic....I don't know....but it makes it entertaining. (smile)
For me.....it was very much worth the $$$$ spent. It will probably be the one route I come back to time and again for Steam engines. The only thing that will keep me from using the route all the time.......it takes a very long time to get anywhere at 10-14 mph. (smile) The route line is usually 18-25.....but with the grades I would be generous to claim I could average 12....those 3-4% grades are killer's.....I'm happy to chug along at 3-4 mph and some of the grades seem to go on forever, but then again they are probably not actually that long.
Cheers!

The nice thing about having official narrow gauge assets is that it will inspire others to create narrow gauge routes, perhaps even some East Coast NG routes without Mountain Climbing at 5 mph. Other assets also exist. Britkits has added a line of US ng steam era rolling stock and 2 Shay locos, a 2-8-0 and a 2-8-2. www.dickyjim.com/page12.htmlMeanwhile this is a pretty nice Mountain Climbing route.

My thoughts exactly Tom! Thanks for the link also....those Shay loco's look interesting. BTW.....I've had the Durango/Silverton NG route for a couple years now. It too is very nicely done. Read about it here: www.drhs315.org/blog/drhs-shop/ds-train-sim/Cheers!

I have the Durango & Silverton also. Nice stock included. The Shays are not as good quality as the new B4D. The cabs are very MSTS but the external model is good. They are prone to wheel slip but the engine bin can be edited to fix that. At 8 pounds they are about $12 USD. I like them enough to have plans to buy the 2-8-0

The 2-8-0 is a worthy advisory for the B4D, I recently purchased it for use on the CC and found it worked quiet well. Gawd, I love the whistle....... . And being the creative type I am, I have changed the NG track textures of the CC track assets to a more east coast look (not so red) and have been creating an NG version of the NWRR (Neuville Williamsburg Railroad Company). I have been building the NWRR since 2014, and out of all the information I have placed at different sites, not one single person has asked for the RWPs for it. That's really weird. People say in has a lot of assets, but so do other routes. Oh well, I am enjoying it, I guess that is all that matters. Have fun with Clear Creek Narrow Gauge.
