Several years ago when the forum was still humming with activity, a scenery maker came and went in an 18 month period. While he was here, he managed to ruffle a few feathers but he gave us some well researched 30's vintage NYC area airports. The name he used on the forum was Siminovman. Perhaps you will remember him, perhaps not. He left the forum abruptly when his wife was sent home from the hospital and he was her only caregiver. His real name was William Sanders and he was a friend and correspondent for many years. I lost touch with him around Christmas of 2016. Both of us were battling sickness at the time. I recovered. Will did not. I'm attaching a Wikipedia article with some of the details of a remarkable life. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Sanders_(writer)
