By the way...
FS9 is more than capable of using very high resolution mesh such as 19m.
All you need to do to enable it in FS9 is change one line your fs9.cfg (found in your personal userspace "application data/microsoft/fs9").
Look for this.
[TERRAIN] TERRAIN_ERROR_FACTOR=100.000000 TERRAIN_MIN_DEM_AREA=10.000000 TERRAIN_MAX_DEM_AREA=100.000000
and change this: TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=19
to this: TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=21
Install your mesh and voila...
Cheers Shad

Yes Shad, but changing it to 21 can have adverse affects if you have addon scenery since it defines the raised areas between levels and makes them sharper. For instance, the area along PAKT next to the channel, if you change it, cuts into many addons sceneries and parts of the airport, BUT I agree, it is great for flying around mountains, really gives a great look with good textures.
I keep mine on 20 and it's a good compromise.

There aren't any 10M meshes out?

There aren't any 10M meshes out? For FS9, 10m is pointless. The engine of FS9.0 was only capable of displaying 38m at the best and FS9.1 restored 19m as a "possibility" though I never could tell. FS2002 of course supported all the way to 9m but that was broken in FS9. Along with the bridges... hmmm. Do I see a pattern?

Oh, well I guess the 10M mesh I was developing isn't going to do any good!

Oh, well I guess the 10M mesh I was developing isn't going to do any good! Not in FS9 (although it will take precedence over any other mesh present.)

Oh ok, you just won't get the full usage out of the 10M mesh. If I can get the INF files figured out I would be on a roll, but that must be a weakpoint for others too because no one has responded to te question?
