Back again, Well you are not going to believe this but problem fixed - the issue was the PHNL in the addon scenery folder. I thoroughly searched every folder possible and could not find anything that remotely looked like an interfering bgl, so I followed Tom's advice again and removed and reset the GH scenery - bingo - all ok, at first I couldnt believe it but I had obviously messed the original attempt at this process. Thanks again for your help (all) and I am happily flying around this fanatastic scenery. Cheers

I've had this problem for the longest time, but I didn't have a PHNL Afcad.
What I did was to take PHNL and delete everything there. I then took AFCAD and added a bunch of extra parking every where I could at GEH1 from Golden Hawaii. I added GEH1 to the airports list of the default traffic bgl file and then reworked the PHNL AI traffic to use GEH1 instead with the increased parking. While I was in the AI traffic, I deleted the flights that began on the US East coast and only kept the Johnston's Atoll and Hong Kong flights coming in from the west. The local flights and flights from the US west coast were also kept.
I've now permanently got John Rodgers Field from the '30s there, but I don't see that as a bad thing ;D I'll probably end up doing the rest of Hawaii where I've got scenery conflicts the same way. As for the AI traffic, I'll use GEH1 as the main hub in the islands with all incoming flights from the mainland operating out of there. The other airfields will be for local flights only.
