I hope this is the right forum for this post. If it isn't, sorry about that. Question: I'm just curious as to where the aircraft carrier/s is/are in Hawaii. I'm flying the Golden Hawaii flight "GH-Help the Navy!" and can't find the aircraft carrier. Is it an aircraft carrier that comes with Flight Sim or is it an addon? Also. I'm using it in FS2004. Thanks in advance.

It's there Well I still can't find it. All I can find is 2 pleasure cruise ships. 1 not far from the shorline. The other a fair way out. Is it possible you can give me the co-ordinates for its location. Not wanting to sound like a complete idiot, but. Isn't Pearl Harbour just near where you start the flight from? And Ford Island NAS inside the harbour? [ I'm an Aussie ;D ] Thanks

Hope you can find it, if not there's an installationproblem. Thanks for that. Looks like it must be an istallation problem. Even though I unistalled it and re-installed but it still does show up.

Could be a conflict with another scenery also...

If you have cruise ships you have a conflict. There are no cruise ships in Golden Hawaii. Do you have Lago's Honolulu or FS Genesis Hawaii installed? If so be sure they are disabled as Golden Hawaii does not deal with them

I don't have any other scenery installed. Unfortunately the carrier isn't there. Although everything else seems to be there. I'm totally flumaxed here.

Hang on a few days.
I'll be releasing a package that seeds the world of GW3 (or FS9) with about thirty copies of Paul Clawson's CV-2 Lexington scattered about the seven seas. One of them is just off Pearl Harbor, just a little further offshore than the GH carrier.

Hi Markoz! now that's strange. Last week I've installed Golden Hawai to make it a permanent scenery and the carrier is there. Are those cruise ships default FS9 scenery (I don't remember FS9...)?
Hey Mick! these are very goood news!

I must admit I added an aircraft carrier in the position posted by pasterke so I have one there now.
Thanks mick. I will look forward to it.
Just out of curiosity. Is this a difference between the Golden Hawaii that needed to be purchased and the one released for free download? Or was it always a free downloaded?

Are those cruise ships default FS9 scenery (I don't remember FS9...)? I believe they are default scenery objects as I don't think that LAGO's Emma Field adds scenery anywhere else in FS9. (I don't remember FS9...)? FS9 is FS2004

The cruise ships are in the default so your switch between default and Golden Hawaii did not work right. You did run the switcher program in the scenery\ocen folder???
The only difference between the payware version and the freeware version is the omission of some of the extras in the freeware pack. All of the Golden Hawaii files are included.
I'm moving this thread to Custom Classics Support. Perhaps some new ideas will surface.
