Hi all.
Is there a line I can edit/insert into the aircraft.cfg for the Sikorsky S-34 in Golden Hawaii?
I have turned on the damage (coz it's more realistic) and now I get a message saying that "excessive speed is causing damage to your landing gear".

Yes, excessive speed DOES cause damage to your landing gear ;D When you set the realism higher, you will get that warning, and if you ignore it, you may have a lopsided or belly landing! You can get visual damage installer from Avsim and it will allow parts of your airplane to fall off. Be warned that it causes very annoying glitches in the simulator, like huge pieces of metal sticking out from the earth lol!

Yes, excessive speed DOES cause damage to your landing gear ;D Yes thank you. And, yes, I did already know that. But taxiing to the runway at a few miles per hour? It just seems to occur at such a slow speed is all. Too slow, like at a snail's pace.

Oh I see. Hmm..not sure what the problem is there. I don't have that airplane anyways, so not much I can do to troubleshoot. Other's may be able to help you.
Good luck anyways

I can't recall any problem with gear damage on the S-43 but it has been a while. I'll fire it up this evening and see if I can break it.

It's a really strange problem. I have found that it doesn't happen all the time. One time I fly the plane - warning about gear damage. Even when slowly taxiing to runway. Another time - no warning at all. Sure has me stumped.
