Hello, before I ask my question, I have to say thank you to Bill and Lynn for making the Graf Zeppelin for FS2004 I have really enjoyed it, thank you!
Now my question, I have noticed that the lights in the gondola are not working, the landing light, navigation lights, control car, and engine gondola work fine, but at night or early in the morning from a external view of the Zeppelin the gondola is dark and not a light to be seen, do they come on at a set time or is there a switch to turn them on?
Thank you

Hallo Herr Dr Eckener! This is strange, did you used the automatic install? I've checked my own Graf's to see what was going on and found no issue at all,and everything is at its place. Please see this pic to see what I means: Anyway, the lights are effects. May be, for some strange reason, your installation did not worked, check the effects folder (into your GW3 or FS9) to see if you have these effects into it: fx_vclighth7c//cabin fx_vclighth7c//radio room fx_vclighth7c//commanders desk fx_vclighth7b//dining room fx_vclighth7c//rudder station fx_vclighth7c//engine room 2 If you have them, everything is all right. Lights in the in the gondola are not very brilliant, but strong enough to see instruments. Regards!

Guten Tag mein Herr!
Yes I did use the automatic install.
I am glad you posted this pic because now I can point out exactly what is not working on my Zeppelin, in the gondola of your Graf you can see lights in the windows, but on mine there is no light in the windows of the gondola.
I check the effects folder fx_vclighth7b and fx_vclighth7c and they were there.
Thank you for your help!
Hmmm, I wonder if Herr Lehmann is playing tricks on me?

In the Options/Settings/Display menu. click the Hardware tab and slide the Hardware rendered lights all the way up to 8. That should turn the lights on everywhere.

Hallo,
I have turned Hardware rendered lights all the way up to 8 and still no lights.
All the lights inside the Zeppelin (cabin, radio room, dining room, commanders desk, rudder station, and engine room 2), also the landing light, navigation lights, and light coming from engine room 2 work without a problem at all.
The lights that are not working are in the windows of the gondola as you can see in the picture posted at: Topic: 1929 World Flight Postcards Page 2 The 8th picture down
I would post a picture, but I do not understand how too on this site.
I went to the flight LZ127- Approaching Manhattan-Dusk and noticed that those lights where on for about 1 sec. and then they went out. I hope this helps.

Are you using the Graf in FS9 or GW3?

The first and most probable reason for the rudder station light going out after a second or two is that the hardware rendered lights are set at less than 8 as Tom indicated. If you have verified that they are set to 8 then make sure that power (shift and M) is on. Using the L key should turn everything on. It might be that you have an older video card that doesn't support this many lights. If you comment out the cabin and radio room lights as below maybe that would help:
[LIGHTS] //Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit light.0=4, 252.00, 12.20, -15.20, //fx_vclighth7c//cabin light.1=4, 296.40, -8.90, -15.5, //fx_vclighth7c//radio room light.2=4, 316.0, 6.1, -14.1, fx_vclighth7c//commanders desk light.3=4, 265.00, -6.9, -12.00, fx_vclighth7b//dining room light.4=4, 324.40, 0.00, -14.60, fx_vclighth7c//rudder station light.5=4, 131.00, 47.50, -3.40, fx_vclighth7c//engine room 2
