Hi folks. Some time ago there was a thread here which explained how to install Golden Hawaii into FSGW. I have searched the GW and Custom Classics forums but can't seem to find it. The objective is to install GH into GW and leave it "on" without needing the switch. I already have had it running for so long I can't recall how I did it, and someone else has asked me about it. Wonder if some kind soul could point me to the thread, or at least remind me of the high points of what to do? Thanks ...

Thanks. I looked at that and thought, "Nah, there's more to it!". But I think that is the answer and the "more to it" part was just discarding the GH switch for GW. Nominate me for this month's dumb question if you like...

Reading the instructions in the FAQ, I am still confused about where do I install the scenery files after I copy them? Is this the scenery folder in the gw folder or my fs9 folder? Thanks for your help.

Hi Pfb, With Golden Hawaii installed and the sim run with the GH option selected from the exe, go to the scenery/ocen folder and you will see a scenery back-up folder. Just move ALL BUT the bgls mentioned in the faq into the scenery/ocen/scenery folder. That replaces the bits of the Pacific islands and Australasia that go missing if you run GH without the fix. I found the easiest way to do this is to open the back-up scenery folder and remove those not-required bgls and move what's left over to the scenery folder. Don't switch the exe after performing the operatrion though!
Cheers,
Roger
