If you would make some versions of those repaints available...I would love to have them. NUMA?! I never knew that Dirk Pitt had an Eagle (I thought he only collected older planes...) I'm a Clive Cussler fan (As you can tell...)
At any rate, I'm working on a repaint of the Veneaviones Turbo Commander for an RTW that I'm working on with another chum on a different forum...

The "Bulldog" and the "NUMA" are uploaded and visible now. Just do an Avsim search on my name - chris brisland - or search for Christen Eagle in repaints (although you'll see one less from me, because I managed to spell "Eagle" wrong in one case...

Did I? Oh, you mean the aerobatic model paint? That's an SOO model - Special Order Only - it will be up to the "owner" to say which of 13 skins I can release if any (with a wink in IA's direction...) - in the meantime, he's happily doing a beta on one of them.... Oh... and yes, there is my Stealth Eagle! But it's so stealthy that it won't be worth uploading... There is an Eagle in this shot, really truly - look at the Walk and Follow "radar" message at the top of the screen... I even turned on the smoke so's you can see me... No seriously though - my laptop graphics card can't handle reflective surfaces, so it went on strike at my efforts (see also my threads on metallic finish and Tom and Joao Paz's tips)

Hmmmm, Working on.... Not a Dang thing. My new job leave's me little time or energy to do any design work haven't touched FSDS in almost 3 months. Maybe I can figure out some way to do some aircraft work but after a 10 hour day with a 45 minute commute at either end, I don't have much time to do anything. Brian

And my busy season is about to begin... (winter roads=car crash's=busy body shops=busy me) I'm actualy thinking of trying to find something a little closer to home. With a 80 mile a day commute (about $100 a week in gas) I'm basicaly working to earn money to put gas in my car so I can go to work...... I'm only making about $12.60 an hour (salary, no overtime) Vs the nearly $15.00 an hour (with overtime available) I was making last year Ohh well, it'll only get worse once I start having to buy oil for my furnace this winter. I went from making almost $38,000 last year and I'll be lucky if I can clear $25,000 this year. Thats a big hit in the wallet. Hopefully I can find something close by or something with a company car with a bit more money soon. Then I might be able to do some design work. Brian

When i was working in the city it was 110 miles round trip, but ya know with Chicago traffic it was only 3 hours out of my day.
my advice, start drinking HEAVILY!!
nah, it didnt work for me either. Finding a job close to home is the cure. Im 15 minutes away, but still have that "commutitude" when i get up.
good luck,
by the way, im a metal fabricator and my salary has been nearly halved over the last 5 years. working close to home was part of it, but i was under the impression that you are supposed to make MORE money each succesive year.
guess i was lied to...

I can walk to work or bike in about 5 mins. when they don't send me out on a company rep (trouble shoot) trip to US or wherever. Overtime is an option too...
But a 100 miles + commute for a 100$ a week in gas? Luxury! Our petrol prices here in Germany are around 1.68$ per liter or around 200$ for 500 miles.
If someone can send me a good scan of a Heineken can, then I have an idea what I'll be working on next, but I have also had a couple of interesting "personal" requests which I am following up now... a nice red and black for the eagle too
Might be in Gainesville Tx next week (depends which of the straws I pull)

I am just so pleased with the latest first draft, I have just got to share... Beware! First draft - nothing lines up yet. And BTW - this is also inspired by real world - I saw a model Fokker DR1 built out of Heineken cans once and thought to myself, "That's neat!" I remembered this the other day and went ought and bought a couple of tinnies to scan in the cans (Fun! Hic!) EDIT IN AFTER - Yes - I pulled the "right" straw. Flying to DFW in the morning 10 days Texas! A few things to do otherwise, but this is ongoing.

I got to Texas safely - but reached the car rental just as it started to rain....
And WOW!!! What rain!!! Maybe short and sweet, but it was probably a month's supply in one day where I come from...

This is soooo frustrating! I am working on nothing! I have been extended into my third week here in Texas with no respite on the horizon! Well, excep that I have to fly to England on Thursday for the next job! Aaaarrrgh! I am getting withdrawal symptoms so I guess I'll just have to post a photobucket picture... (just to stay in practice) (oh BTW... this is a project I am working on as well)
