Many thanks for the update Lynn, Bill and team.
I agree with Scout as I also feel GW3 seems like a new flight sim. I've removed FS2004 from my system and only fly GW3. The ground textures are wonderful as are the many trees etc. I'm getting very good FPS on my puny system even with all scenery sliders maxed.
Thanks again,
Howard

Just like to add my sincere thanks for what you and the crew have done with GOLDEN WINGS. I've been using it for a week now and it is just great. If I never see another jet aircraft, its OK with me!

Hi All, Our generous benefactor has reported that we have used the September allotment of bandwidth and had to take the storage site down... We have stored the GW Update 1 at windrfters.com/GWUP1.zip and hopefull will have the base file back up tomorrow. Sorry, and hope you are having fun. Best, Bill

Hi Lynn, Bill and all Not had a chance to pop in and express my gratitude so am doing it here. Thank You!! ;D Both for the Original GW, the update and the recent freeware releases of the Custom Classics - gave me a chance to catch the last couple which I missed while in the FS wilderness. (Don't think I can use "both" when listing three things, it doesn't read right, still you know what I mean )

Hello Lynn, Bill and the Gang.
I just want to say MANY THANKS to all of you for Golden Wings and the Custom Classics releases. Since the moment I stumbled across the note about the GW3 on simflight.de, i'm addicted.
I love vintage aviation and what you folks created is the perfect place to bring the old birds to new life.
Can't wait till I've finished work for today.
Again thanks, Daniel

Bill,
I have got to tell you how much I enjoy GW3. It is a wonderful way to spend an hour or so, just relaxing a tooling around the countryside.
I even play my Duke Ellington and Billy Holiday CD's when I'm in the Goose!

I for one feel like this is a whole new simulator...no need to get rid of those pesky tubeliners and have to dodge around modern cities and airports. ;D With the creativity of this group...led by Bill and Lynn...I suspect this sim may very well take on a life of its own. Thanks much guys!! I'LL SECOND THAT da da, da da, thats GLORIANNA ;D cheerzs

Guys-- Where do the prototype Hurricane and Spitfire come from? Marc That thread is more than 3 years old but IF I remember correctly, they were from Aeroplane Heaven. Perhaps Kofi will see this and give you better info. www.aeroplaneheaven.com/
