I'm glad somebody caught that.....easy fix!
I was at the hospital last night from 9:15 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. then had to work from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.....I'm about beat. So, I probably won't make the change this evening but I'll guarantee, you'll have it by the weekend.
Download Rwy12 scenery placement program from either Avsim or Flightsim....You can play with it and learn to place some objects. That way you'll be ready to go when you get the objects.
Please send me a private message (PM) with your e-mail address.
Regards,
MoCat

Hey, man.....that sounds like an Emergency Room visit. I hope everything is OK with you and yours. Take care of yourself, we need your expertise.
Later, Fred Z.

Ditto! I hate the late night through early morning hospital visits. Two elderly parents and two kids, as well as my own misfortunes have led me there way too many times....

The good news, is that they let me "surf the web" at work, so I can access this thread. The bad news, is that the military blocks photobucket, co I can't see the pics, so I have to wait until late tonight, Germany time, when I can actually look at them.

Wot a lovely job that is. Very nice indeed PS I love the idea of having the completely open front ........ with opening side windows. So you can get a nice refreshing thru-breeze I guess

Rollerball,
I thought like you did that the structure had glass doors in front. However, after enlarging the photo there are no doors on it and the side windows are open....I just followed the picture made available.

Rollerball, I just followed the picture made available. MoCat Yep I know you did and you did a geat job too. It's just the thought I had right at the beginning when I saw the original photograph. My guess is that when the hangar was a bit younger it maybe had doors on the front, but who knows.... One of those strange little mysteries

Well,
You thought better than I did! I thought it had glass doors. However, If you look back at a number of Barn Stormer photos....especially at their home base a good percentage don't have doors. I've even seen some photos that the hangars look like tents, specifically "Davis Tents" which I created for both National Air Tour and Flyboys!

The 1929 version had doors, but they were the "hidey kind" that were on rails. We still have the rails, but the doors were so unreliable, noone actually remembers them ever being used.
We will eventually put some canvas stretched over wood or steel tube frames on it, just to keep the weather out, but for now, no doors.
The only addition that I can think of, is to place the light beacon on the right side of the hangar. Then, when I get some time, I plan on correcting some of the problems with KTNU, so I can get a correct "look".
I'm not going to regress until I fix everything about the current airport.
