Gents, I was inspired by Stephen's recent Berryloid repaint of the Golden Age Simulations Travelair 6000 to create an information piece on the Berry Brothers (Berryloid) airplane dope. Well, anyway, I hope everyone enjoys the page. If you have any additional information I can add to the page, please let me know. www.oldbeacon.com/plans/berryloid/berryloid.htm

Thanks for posting that. I'm working on a Robin and I note that both Robin Yellow and Robin Orange are on the second color card. I'll see if I can get something close to those colors.

Thanks Bookman:
This bit of research on your part answers that nagging 'who the heck was Berryloid anyway?' question I had. The scanned ads and paint swatches are well chosen and nicely done. Love the color card with the 'Berry Brother's finishes' art deco winged Mercury. Thats a classic artifact of the classic era.
Didn't realize the Berry Bros were based in good old Detroit, either.
Thanks for posting this great info.
Stephen
