Although I didn't know the man personally I am very sorry to hear of his passing. I have just come across his file wsh_01 and am intrigued by the material he created.
My problem is that I cannot get it to install fully in FS9. I have tried and re tried and although it appears to have installed I cannot get it to show up on my Select Flight list. After activation the opening flash screen for FS9 indicated that it is making changes as it usually does but I cannot find a way to activate the three flights. I am a relatively well experienced simmer but this one has me puzzled.
Does anyone out there have any suggestions or long at lat references for the airports or . . . . . .
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Jeff

Jeff, welcome to TOH,
There are no 'flights' included in the 'wsh_01.zip' download. What you get are 3 new bush air strips that can be found in the 'Go To Airport' list. They will also show up on the map or GPS.
Their Airport ID's are KW01, KW02 and KW03.
If they are not showing up in the 'Go To Airport' list:
The 3 'airport' files are 'AF2_KW01.bgl', 'AF2_KW02.bgl' and 'AF2_KW03.bgl'.
In the .zip file they were located in the ..\Addon Scenery\.. folder. This is in error as '*.bgl' files must be located in a ..\scenery\.. sub folder of an active scenery area folder, example; ..\Addon Scenery\scenery\..
If you put them in the sim as they came packaged they will not show. Move them (not copy) to ...\Addon Scenery\scenery\..and they will show.

I also recently discovered the short hops by Leon Louis. You might like to know there are several more for west WA and even a couple near Spokane. There are some in BC, AK, ME, and mostly in his home province of Quebec. I now have them all installed and after I fly the NAT I plan to visit a bunch of those tiny fields.
I have a program called FSDiscover that, among other things, is a simple flight planner and shows those fields on the map. It makes it very easy to plan a route that way.
