For lack of a better idea, I'll ask here - does anyone have a good picture or plot of the RAF 15 Airfoil? I have a really miserable one and a set of suspect coordinates (from which I shall now attempt to plot my own) but the proper solution to my problem would be if someone would magically come up with a reliable picture.
Thanks, jim

Thanks, Gil. I plotted the coordinates I have last night and the results looks pretty grim. This is beautiful.

glad I could help Jim... I have a resource like these of every airfoil type so far registered. I got my hands on them 1 late night playing toothless bar buck dice on a dark little island in the South Pacific.............Best Gil

I'll keep that in mind, Gil. I'm pretty well set on most vintage U. S. airfoils, but my data for foreign airfoils is pretty thin.
Toothless bar buck dice? Something else I've missed?

Glad you came up with that, Gil, I thought Jim had me beat, I have RAF6 and RAF28 and plenty of mentions of 15 but no drawings, unless, could it have been in use on SE.5a aeroplanes? I have a set of German (yes, really, in an end-of-WW1 Jane's) drawings from, presumably, a captured SE and it looks very like your profile (typical German efficiency eh?). Leyland

The airfoil dates back to 1915, so they could have used it on the SE.5a, but I can't confirm that. Gotta get me more books ....
