Gil, Call me stupid but ...am I missing something? Would you post your 3view or plans. I thought the ones I had were pretty damned good. Are your plans scale model plans? Would love to see'm.
I have hundreds of 3views but am always interested in other versions.
Jeff, I can scan the plans I sent in much larger versions if you need them.

I'm collecting info and shots for exactly that purpose Gil. There were a couple of aircraft I had my eye on for modeling, and the Eagle was on the list. Since I'm Canadian, the name itself brought a chuckle and made me wonder why someone hadn't thought to bring it to life in FS before. On the other hand this would be my first aircraft for FS. I'm just in the information collection stage right at the moment. The only actual modeling I've done is the bottom. If you're between projects and were thinking of doing the Eagle up proper, you'd definitely have her flying long before I would with your superior skill. On the gripping hand I'd be a fool not to take you up on your offer of assistance, I'd probably learn more from asking you a few questions than I would blindly fumbling my way for hours in FSDS. The 3 views you helped me with look fine to me Kevin. A little straightening, a little sharpening and they work great as a background. I just wanted to be sure about the fuselage shape before I started the major component. I get the feeling it would be hard to make the other parts first and then try to make the fuselage fit to them. You wouldn't happen to have a set that has station profiles, that would finish off the fuselage shape question. Rgds: Jeff

Gil, Those are INDEED much better views. Do you have many of the older modeling mag plans like those? I'd gladly pay for repros of any golden age plans.

Does anyone happen to have a close up view of the interesting bungee shock system this one uses. The LG was obviously a replacement on Kevin's pic of the blue one. I think I have it figured out, two fore and aft mounting points each side attached to a central swivel mounted to the pyramid brace on the underside of the fuselage. I'm wondering if the cord itself ran from one mounting point through a U cast into or welded onto the axle brace and ending at the second mounting point.
