Hello!
I was running a long analyzing work on this site (http://oldbeacon.com) and suddenly the pages vanished from the net one after one.
Was it you site Bookman?
If the site has been taken down, i am really very sorry, because i need the complete list of US airports from January 1936. In there i am hunting down the old time fan markers on the airways, using there positions and morse identifactions in a project of mine.
Please could i in any way get this information?
Regards
egon

I can't get to the site either. I get Apache 2 test page and this message "If you are a member of the general public: The fact that you are seeing this page indicates that the website you just visited is either experiencing problems or is undergoing routine maintenance.
Perhaps it is just down temporally.

I'll contact Kevin (Bookman) today and he can follow up with the server. He's working so I doubt it was anything he did.
8 pm... I've contacted Bookman and he's investigating.

Bookman is trying to get it fixed. Nothing solid to report.

Something or somebody caused the Old Beacon to be completely deleted. Bookman is re-assembling it from backups between various real life commitments. It will return as soon as time permits.

Until Kevin gets his site up, you might want to try the following link... www.archive.org/index.php There's a place on this page where you can enter the address of a website and it will pull up archived copies of the website. Provided that the person that owns the site didn't block the .bots. Christopher
