Something that MS should really improve is the entry interface which still looks very much DOS-like.
- I would welcome the ability to see the map (large if possible !) without being obliged to plan a flight for instance.
- Improving the planer would be very much appreciated too : setting up user waypoint, setting up different altitudes at different waypoints etc.
- about the map in the sim now : wouldn't it be nice to see it in the sim without pausing the session ?
Hey Tom I don't know whether this is what you meant with this forum, trying to gather suggestions for the new sim, tell me if I'm off the road !

It's a discussion, so shouldn't that be okay?

Anything is fine here as long as you don't call each other (or Microsoft) idiots (or other names either). But remember always how little we know about the next version. Also I suspect the features are locked in already so wishes are just wishes. There are of course some thing I hope will be in the finished product but I won't get excited until I put the DVD in the drive and click "Install" After all, I have a flight simulator. 3 versions in fact.

It could be, or it couldn't be. They said they still have a few months to refine FS X, so that could mean the GUI interface, or other stuff such as the scenery. I think the same thing about having to file a flight plan to get into the map. I can get over that, because they are going to have missions in FS X, how fun!

if everything is alredy locked in, any fs10 forum has not much interest... And that is why it's in the off topic section here. When FS-X is released there will be plenty to talk about but until then, not much. I have no inside information, I just think at this point, wishlists are pointless. But I could be wrong...
