This is a great idea for a forum and I think Bruce is a great choice as moderator for it.

bhk,
I don't know if congradulations are in order or not. Might be a lot of work for little or no monies.
I would like to welcome you and let you in on an adventure I am currently working on. There are photos posted in New File Announcements. I keep you updated, and post the info here on your board.

Thanks for the welcome and yes, I've been following your series of posts in the other forum. Looks most impressive. When you are ready to announce the release of the Flight/Adventure, by all means use this forum. That's what it's here for. Regards, Bruce

Bruce, Best wishes to you on the new forum! I have one question for you. Can you recommend a good resource for learning how to create an adventure in MSFS? As you can tell from some of the stories that I post here from time to time that my imagination works overtime all day long. Creating official adventures might be good therapy for me!!

...Can you recommend a good resource for learning how to create an adventure in MSFS? .... Thank you for your good wishes. Other than using both the web (Google) and my library for researching real-life flights, the only resource that I have ever used is right there in FS9.....the Create A Flight utility in the Select A Flight menu. FSNavigator[/i] (payware) offers the ability to create "out-and-back" flights, which cannot be done using the FSim tool, so if you want to do something that requires the pilot to return from whence he came then you'd need this type of functionality. There is only one other suggestion that I can make and that is to go to Flightsim.com and search for a series of Adventures under the file name fsfic.zip ....through to fsfic14.zip. As the creator of this serial states:- The story of one man, and his incredible aviation tale. By Andy Johnston.I think that the way he's presented these is excellent...and they are good fun to fly, too. I hope this is helpful to you. Regards, Bruce

Thanks Bruce,
I didn't realize that it was quite that easy. I will check out the adventures that you referenced and maybe use that as a guide for my own work.
