Reminds me of a joke about Lord Nelson and the Battle of Trafalgar........
Nelson appeared on deck wearing his red uniform jacket and Captain Hardy said, "Admiral, you will stand out amongst the crew and make an easy target for the French riflemen."
Nelson replied, "Hardy, the men must see their commander on deck, fearless and defiant and, if I am hit, the red jacket will disguise the colour of the blood".
Just then the lookout on Victory shouted down "Five shi....no, make that ten....wait a minute.........oh, wow!........thirty-plus ships of the French fleet on the starboard bow!!".
Nelson turned to Hardy and said "Be a good lad, Hardy; pop down to my cabin and bring up my brown corduroy trousers!"

LOL ;D
Ah, yes Bruce, how the cold 'reality' of any situation will change the most noble of intentions!

H e l l o, Capetown ;D The final Well, not quite . . . nothing like a little impromptu air show . . . and a little Gin in the gas line . . . Seems the Tower is getting irritated Seems their going to pull my license . . . what license! Kinda steamy - almost like an ol' Stil . . . Well done Cessna, take a bow I must say that this was quite a journey – over a year (July 6, 2007)! While long and tedious at times, it has been very enjoyable!! Given that I’ve seen many places I’ve never been too and some that I have, they’ve all provided new insight to their geography, their people (I’m still in love with that 20-something Brunette), and of course their food, wine, and never forgettable variety of exquisite brews! While the Cessna 150 performed magnificently, even more so given the flamboyant lackluster characteristics of the pilot, it’s 87 knot speedometer really should be redesigned – needs higher mach numbers! I would like to thank Bruce Kennewell for creating this adventure and his many encouraging comments along the way – it’s been a lot of fun! Also, Francois-Denis Guidee and Yves Franckart for their very fine Cessna 150 – it was a pleasure to fly! So, as this quest comes to a close, I believe I will open a ‘cold one’ and toast all those that have found the world of flight simulation to be as magnificent an obsession as I have! Dan EpilogueWho knows what I will fly to where next. Maybe a short hop from Seattle to Tacoma, maybe an excursion from east to west or north to south, or maybe an entire circular flight around the globe . . . As for the 150, who knows what will become of it as it passes from an impressive and dazzling performance. Maybe somewhere, someplace, in some distant time zone, it will fly back – to the future! …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D
