NAT day 19 has us flying our first hop to St. Joseph, Mo. The airfield up ahead looks easy enough and the weather will not give us any problems for a landing. A quick buzz over the hanger shows that we are "spot-on" with our navigation. Nice long runway gives us plenty of room to bleed off our speed. Taxing up to the hanger for a quick checkup. After the checkup it's time to make my way toward the NAT area. Looking for my spot and after that some refreshments before I take off for the next hop. Oil wells and towers seem to dominate this Midwestern landscape. Stay tuned for the next part of day 19... Bill

On the ground at Rosecrans: Sounds like a Travel Air It's Bob Johnson from Missoula In the air: There's Rosecrans in St. Joe. Wonder if big Mo floods very often Now we'll land and have a look at that tri-motor we bought. That's it. Should work out well for smoke jumping after we alter it a bit I sure think those folding doors are neat Parked! Now we can head for the cafe and get a hot beef sandwich, pie and coffee[
