Hey MoCat,
Just two quick questions. I had just a little time to install the main file this morning. I noticed that a zip file named texture.zip was placed in the root of the addon Scenery folder. Does this need to be unzipped and placed in the scenery folder of the addon scenery directory?
Also, I only had time to look at one of the air fields, which was Ford Field. This is just a guess, but I believe that the animated search lights causes too much of a load on my poor little machine. Is there a way to turn off the animation?
And lastly, the Akron 1933 scenery come down in four parts (The link for the high bandwidth file is busted). Files 2,3 & 4 are texture file but I'm not sure exactly where they should go. I checked the read me on the first file but it wasn't very specific. Could you enlighten this poor humble servant of yours?
Bill

1. First time I tried a self installer, I don't know where that .zip file came from, open it, if it has textures copy them to addon scenery/textures.
2. Put the Akron texture files in Addon Scenery/Textures.
3. Just for you, send me your email, and I'll send you a replacement file with non animated search lights. Goto NAT5, Butler-Pittsburgh and see how your frames are in that scenery and if necessary, I'll remove the animated search lights from that .bgl also.
Hope this helps.

No,
Type in City= Windsor - Country=Canada. It will say Windsor International but will actually take you to Walker Airport, Walkerville. Walker Airport which was owned by Walker Whiskey now Canadian Club, was purchased by the city of Windsor which incorportated Walkerville.
Same problem with Middlesboro Kentucky and MeGhee Tyson in Nashville. I change them in AFCAD but they still show in FS9/GW3 as the Microsoft Original.
If I can be of any other help, just ask.

Len,
The first part, Day Eight, of part two is complete and sent to GliderRider for testing. I posted some photos. Glider and I are going to release, each airfield seperately from now until the end.
Keep in mind there are a second set of sceneries if you set you calendar between July 1 and July 28, 1931.
Hope you enjoy,
All my best.

Hey OldTiger, Glad to have you aboard on this venture. MoCat is doing a magnificent job of recreating the excitement and adventure of the National Air Tour. This tour that you will be flying was the last one which was run in 1931. I've included a map of the route so that you can see which cities you will be flying to. Also, check the thread labeled "National Air Tour, Airfield Descriptions" for detailed airport information. Have a good time fly'in the Golden Age Skies! Bill
