Hi MoCat, You've probably already seen many of these pics/links (especially the postcards from The Beacon - thanks Kevin! , but hopefully it will save you some time on research, or prove to be of help in some way. The website is for the 2003 re-creation of the NAT (which I saw when it visited Fort Worth Meacham). On the sidebar, it has a link ("Read the book online") to download a PDF copy of The Ford Air Tours, 1925 - 1931 by Lesley Forden, a "complete narrative and pictorial history of the seven National Air Tour competitions". Very good reading for the upcoming FS NAT event! www.nationalairtour.org/Or, if you prefer, the direct links for each document are here: www.nationalairtour.org/pdf/ford_pdf_files/intro.PDFwww.nationalairtour.org/pdf/ford_pdf_files/chapter_1.PDFwww.nationalairtour.org/pdf/ford_pdf_files/chapter_2.PDFwww.nationalairtour.org/pdf/ford_pdf_files/chapter_3.PDFwww.nationalairtour.org/pdf/ford_pdf_files/chapter_4.PDFwww.nationalairtour.org/pdf/ford_pdf_files/chapter_5.PDFwww.nationalairtour.org/pdf/ford_pdf_files/chapter_6.PDFwww.nationalairtour.org/pdf/ford_pdf_files/chapter_7.PDFwww.nationalairtour.org/pdf/ford_pdf_files/chapter_8_10.PDFwww.nationalairtour.org/pdf/ford_pdf_files/index.PDFwww.nationalairtour.org/pdf/ford_pdf_files/data_charts.PDFA few more links of interest: (news story - NAT day 2) home.earthlink.net/~ralphcooper/pimag118.htmAnd these probably don't belong here but what the heck. Kind of helps build the historical context. Plus maybe Lionheart will see this and make us some more cool cars to drive around the NAT scenery. ;D Aviation 1931 www.asmrb.org/michaelb/CthulhuAviation1931.htmlNotable or Exotic Automobiles of 1930 www.asmrb.org/michaelb/CthulhuAutos1930.htmlHeadlines of 1930 www.asmrb.org/michaelb/CthulhuHistory.htmlCheers, Wayne

Clipper,
You are on it, you were right, I had some of it, but these are some great finds! I'm working hard trying to complete Oklahoma City, keep running into problems with GMax. I want it to do things it does not want to do, and it's winning......
Thanks again, I'm going to try and have NAT P3 complete by the end of the month.....Then we'll wait a couple of weeks, and I'll start the Race.
I'm going to create a scoreboard like the one in "Flyboys" Hangar, and when you get to the next field you'll recieve the file by e-mail and the times will be on the scoreboard.....
That's about all for now!
My next project, is a fictional airfield called the "Old Hangar".....It's going to take awhile, because it's going to rival most good payware and be absolutely free!
